Usual on Sunday

We had our usual last Sunday morning when we went to Huan Lok Cafe.

Each of us had this irresistible old school taste of kolo mee.

That morning we did not feel like having its dumpling soup so we ordered a side dish of steamed chicken. Hainanese steamed chicken to go with our kolo mee.

Of course must go with the chicken rice chilli vinegar dipping. Used not to be that watery but the taste is still there.

A nice breakfast to start our Sunday morning.

I like the look of your kolo mee with the thin slices of char siew. And of course Hainanese steamed chicken will be a bonus.

Hello,
Happy Sunday! I'm very particular when it comes to kolo Mee. It's hard to find a delicious kolo mee nowadays. I prefer oily kolo mee and not too plain. The more toppings they give me, the happier I will be. Hahaha!

Have a nice day yeah?

There's used to be a stall at Taman Jurong Food Centre selling Kolo Mee, but then the stall decided to end their business in Oct...

There...kolo mee. It's associated with your blog. I can't get it out of my mind. If I see a stall here selling it, I will be reminded of you!
